Back in D2 dupes were so commonplace that SOJs and Ber/Jah runes were the major form of currency.

HRs were the currency, blizz wants in game gold to be the currency, now igg is duped. Cycle continues.

I remember IGG in d2 was basically completely worthless. Now IGG and mats have value, but you can’t trade any items other than Rares. The cycle does indeed continue.
