We did 50 Duriel runs (200 total Duriel drops) and 1 person out of 4 got 3/4 uber uniques that dropped.

I thought smartloot was also supposed to distribute loot evenly. It seems we're still using D2R RNG for drops within teams

Smart loot just means you only get uniques dropped for your specific class.

It doesn’t mean that if your buddy drops an Uber the game automatically gives you an Uber also.

I'm hypothesizing there's an underlying issue with smartloot. It most likely prioritizes drops to the person in the group that has the least amount of higher IP items during the fight.

Do we have any details on what the underlying implementation of smartloot looks like?

D2R loot is better. But it’s boring after a while as well

I'd argue D4 loot is better if it wasn't account bound. A shako would sell for 100,000 FG right now on hardcore ladder
