i saw ball lightning sorcs now using ice blades instead of frost nova
Is It because of the new tal rasha ring? how should i use that skill?

frost nova doesn't deal any damage = no elemental damage proc from the tal rasha's ring.
you can either use ice blades or frozen orb enchantment.

ice blades + lightning spear (from unstable currents) also helps add more dmg with Conjuration Mastery.

i went iceblades over frozen orb and use the firebolt enchantment.

yes, but i personally dont use it.
