Just curious if char level would factor in to leeching duriel.

IE want to use lvl 54 char, and I know of course wont change item level reqs but is there a minimum level advised?

It does change the item level reqs. If you are under level 60 then the items will drop with a level 60 req. If you are between level 60 and 80 then they drop your level and over 80 with a level 80 req.

For the possibility of an uber unique your level doesn't matter. It also doesn't change the item power nor the mods in any way.

Or are you saying they would drop @ 60 req also.
