I know that, for uber uniques to drop, the monster has to be a specific level.
I am wondering, with things like this uber duriel run, does your character have to be a specific level for an uber unique to drop?
If in a party, is it tied to the party leaders level?

Drops has never anything to do with character level other than level requirement of the item.
So it’s actually technically better to find a shako at low level as the level req on it will be lower, when you find it from levels 1-60 it will automatically make it just require level 60 to wear.

afaik uber uniqs always have a lvl80 requirement

Haven't blizzard itself wrote that uber shako requires char lvl at least 85 to drop? Im pretty sure that i saw info like this at the time when they introduced uber uniques, and im pretty sure that it was writen by some developer.

From the other hand is there anyone who got shako on low lvl? That would be the best proof.

The monster needs to be lvl85, not the player. What Roneye had said above is correct, and uber uniques will only drop in wt4.
