hey, me and a friend bough d4 on release and we tried our best to play it for 3-4days but... we both kept getting memory issues and other crashes all the time...

at first i thought it might be because i was using a gtx 970 and only 16gb ram but then i remembered my friend crashed as much and he had 32gb ram and a 2080 or something

so like, did they improve the crash problem??? we were crashing several times per hour, all day everyday

asking cause i wanted to give s2 a shot, but i dont want to get into it if its gonna be the same crap again

Make sure you don't have Nvidia experience overlay enabled.
Try to set diablo4 to cpu priority above normal.

ive done the cpu thing but the crashes are memory related...

they happen when we change zones often and move around alot in maps... the only way we kinda minimized the amount of crash was by grinding in 1 dungeon or zone without moving around lol

so it was either a memory leak or the game not getting rid of cache as we loaded new places... have you noticed any drop in the amount of crashs compared to week 1 of release??

Didn't have any crashes in d4.
But did keep having memory leak crashes in d2r because of nvidia experience overlay was enabled.

Nah. Minimum requirement is 660. Yours is in the recommended for medium settings.

just increase youre harddrives (where u have d4 installed) virtual memory to higher (i set it on the ammount of ram i have) . fixed my memory leak errors atleast.

but fucking lame if they dont fix this shit on season 2 patch like this kind a shit error shouldn't even happen at launch
