World tier 3… all white, blue, and non sacred items will automatically be dropped as materials now. And World tier 4.. all white, blue, and non ancestral items will drop as materials now

More In Game Gold will be dropped to make up for not being able to sell the lower tier items (lower tier items are now mats)

Gems are now mats and you’ll craft them at the jeweler.. free up space in inventory

Items will now show affixes in a priority sequence instead of random (make it easier to compare items, check for the affixes you want)

There is a search function now to look for items

You can now “favorite” items to prevent salvage/selling on accident/convenience

Item Power will now go up to 920.. and Uber Uniques will now be farmable from one of the Uber bosses. Any Uber Unique you get will have max stats

That’s all I can remember atm for items.. very similar itemization, but at least a step in the right direction

itemization seems to be a discuss for season 3. remember season 1 and 2 were already worked on before launch

Not a single mention about fixing itemization. Imo you cannot fix this shit games itemization without completely making a new game. However, remember these devs thought D3 itemization was good hence why it’s the similar crap in D4.

i think it would be possible, but they give me almost no reason to believe they are actually capable of doing so. its sad af, i really wanted this game to be good.
hopefully its something they will cover in the second stream. at the moment, i dont see myself playing much of s2.

Their work on items are as followed.
T3 only drops sacred
T4 only drops ancestral
Gear level will scale with players level so finding a tempest roar at level 90 should be better than the one you found at level 80 (if I understood correctly)

Aspects being reworked more info Oct 10th
Uniques being reworked more info Oct 10th

Just checked quick summary, yet again 200% damage buffs, etc etc, they keep bringing same concepts which make itemization and game itself just boring.

Uber uniques like shako now are farmable, if I understood correctly. But at this moment I'm not even sure if I want to play diablo 4 again, even when season 2 starts.
