I bought this game and played it on the release, but havent touched it since.

Felt like the biggest rip-off ever. Everything got nerfed, all the fun sucked out of it.

Just curious, what is it that keeps you guys going in the game? What are you doing now for grinding so on?

However yesterdays campfire chat looked pretty good. Game will probably be pretty good by season 4-5 or so.

Iam playing trying different builds different chars
And not just till 50 but every char till 100 trying to do lillith and t100 dungs on every char

the game has seen something like 99% of it's userbase quit.

on release the haters said "this game will be dead in a few months"

the optimists said "they have a chance to fix things to stop that in the first major patch and especially season 1"

they didn't, they not only didnt fix the bad things they made MORE bad things, and released them along side a bad season with bad mechanics and zero additions to the biggest issue the game has, a lack of end game.

gaming companies depend on sweaty no lifers to be the canary in the coal mine. they get to problematic areas and systems way before the regular gamer. and if you dont take them serious the dad gamers get there eventually and the game folds on itself. and that's what happened. they spent weeks trying to slow down the sweat lords, and probably halved their profits moving forward as a result even if they fix the game.

The question everybody has to ask themselves is:

Is this game worth my time?

My personal opinion is that, keeping up with Blizzard and what’s occurred so far in pre season, 1 and now going into 2: this company will say whatever they need to try and retain their player base, but the actual work they put out is reskins, regurgitated mechanics, and half finished content.

They are driven by player metrics. So even if they’re buffing exp and saying they want to speed up leveling - that is counter intuitive to their goal of keeping you playing and ideally experiencing multiple opportunities to buy cosmetics. They might buff it today, but there will be a new mechanic introduced to “slow you down” later.

However I want to like the game. So my perspective is: give us a full good season, with new and interesting content, that is well liked/enjoyed by players. Once that has happened, I will return the next season.

But blizz can suck my left nut if they think I’m going to beta test their game while Larian is out here putting out bangers like Baldurs Gate 3. Why would I waste my time with an inferior product and company when the new standard for RPG has been set?

I doubt any of us is still playing.
There are a lot of updates and news coming out regarding season 2 this week. It seems Blizz is doing their 110% to regain their players back by changing many things.
5 Uber bosses will be added with some new material mechanics related to them.

I personally lost faith and trust in Blizz as I have the feeling no matter the changes they do, it will be for the sole benefit of monetizing us and enticing micro transactions. I wouldn't be surprised that gem tabs and other tabs will be added into the store.

I wish the best for Diablo 4 and Blizzard but it will be without me.
