It took 3 months for the gaming community to completely reject Diablo 4 as being unplayable.

But what does the fraction mean 48 months / 3 months = 16?

Blizzard is a community of humans just like ours, and if 3 months represents the average time of disillusion, 16 is the amount of chances they got to make it right.

Took people months to emotionally process what they were sold in D3 was fundamentally a different game than D2(Game they loved/one of the best games ever made) and had almost nothing in common with it in terms of the fundamentals. Especially after waiting so long. People kept hoping if they did X thing in D3 it would start to feel like D2, but never did.

This time though? Plenty of fools bought D4 telling themselves what they wanted to hear and got burned a second time, so learned quicker.
