Hey passionate necro players!

I'm wondering which bonespear variation is the best allrounder.

About my necro:
I'm level 85 with the standart maxroll bonespear build. Grinding nightmare dungeons between 50-65.
Level 50 nmd is pure speedrun, 60+ i have to take care and play a bit slower, but still blasting without any problems (except those bubble elites).

What i've experienced myself so far:
- barber is the way to go (not the other heart that cycles through 3 buffs)
- switched from 2h sword to 2h scythe and stay at full life 24/7 now, no damge drop recognized (there should be one though)


What i'm planing to try:
- 1h weapon + codex (for 1 more aspect)
- 1h weapon + lidless shield (+bonestorm)


So my questions are:

Did anybody try different bonespear builds, especially the lidless+bonestorm variant?

What is your favourite bonespear build? (Maybe something i did not mention here?)

The bubble elites are easy if u get blood mist and the skill after that drops corpses every second, blood mist near bubble elite, it drops corpse, yur malignant heart will deploy the corpse tendril to stun then u hit wit 1 spear so it dies

I like running 50s with 1h and shield/offhand options more. Bosses take a small hit in kill time but mobs are way easier to manage. My offhand of preference is lucky:resource/lucky:slow/lucky hit chance/essence cost reduc.

I ran 2h and then a 1h with lidless...for just grinding dungeons, i preferred 1h with lidless. felt a lot tankier

Going to try temerity with 2h scythe today. Could be an interesting combination

didnt you read the small section of why you should use 1h sword and focus instead of 2hander? on paper the dmg looks higher, but your missing out on more cdr, attack speed, lucky hit chance to restore essence, etc

just make sure lidless is on at all times. If not you will die

Update

Tested 2h scythe with temerity for an hour today. Feels better than my 3xdr pants in terms of survivability.

When you run lidless, make sure you run the aspect of shielding storm. Gives you a barrier for 10 seconds every time your bonestorm damages someone.
