Yea that's scummy as hell. They are just prolonging the player base with artificial injection of marketing tricks. Smart move to uninstall and never buy another Blizzard/Activision product ever again.

I find myself replaying older games more often to scratch that itch.

yep. in the guy's video from my topic, you can see the cursor snap to the button. can be done with winapi's SetCursorPos function

the guy in the vid probably lagged and clicked it. everyone keeps talking about and sharing the same post but noone ever said it happened to them.
never happened to me but i think it used to be the default selection when going to the page and i see how someone could accidentally activate it.
the proper thing to do would have been adding a "are you sure you want to activate" popup

Baldurs Gate 3 is still around for those that want to experience a good game, instead of scraping the bottom of the barrel with blizzard. Devs and gaming companies crying that BG3 set the expectations too high for gaming. 😂😂

bg3 looks boring AF standing around trying to play turn based in 2023, D1 had better gameplay lol. atleast new JRPGs try to spice up turn-based games
