I don't care much about gold, but even D3 didn't have item duplication and they even disabled trading

Week one of d3, someone just handed me created items that simply broke the entire game.

2 weeks later I stopped playing and never returned.

Once i went in a shop to buy something but i forgot my wallet and i never returned.

False, d3 when they had real money auction house still they had to rollback the asian server 5 days due to massive gold and item duping

To this day d3 on ps5 has absurd hacked items with like 12 gajillion damage and 14 sockets and stupid shit.

Didn't hear this, but even if true, as far as I see it was not the case for EU/US so it is not the same situation - I mean bug in entire game or engine.

Including crossplay in a game like this leads to pretty infinite exploits

Big difference tho d3 had diff servers, d4 is just two servers asia and europe+usa

I rented the game from redbox when it came out. Made some stupid ass hacked gear and returned it the next day. Didn't play it for like 7 years lol.
