Anyone enjoying Ranged Rogues in this season?

I've been doing Infiltrator/Bursting Venom TB Rogue with Creeping Heart and Barber Cold TB Rogue until Lvl93.

Have been clearing T100 at pretty good pace and soloed Uber Lillith.

I'm a bowzon whore from D2R and always loved Ranged Rogue playstyle a lot more than melee. I do have Rapid Fire Lvl100 Rogue in Eternal which I loved.

Just finally respec to Rapid Fire in the season. Sharing it so other ranged rogues can check it out.

The Hearts made the ranged spec so different than before. Can play pretty aggressive now.

And the aspect of Lethal Dusk + Shadow Imbument + Mending Obscurity gives +1000 life per second regen while in Stealth mode.

So this is likely a sustain meta for Ranged Rogues who can't really use the Momentum Passive + Stolen Vigor.

This Siphoning Strike nerf hit Rogues really hard so definitely need to incorporate at least 1 good source of life regen and this works well for Ranged Rogues.

Will be leveling her up to 100 in this spec then do T100s and Uber Lillith.

Still good number of paragon points to get from levels and 8 points from 2 renowns.

First time trying T100 with the spec.

Not bad. About 9 mins.

Using a random low end elixir too. No 900 armor nor 30% life pool. Crazy.

Ranged Rogue might be much safer than TB Rogue with these hearts.

Much less button smashing than TB, that's for sure lol

Looks pretty dope! I'm hoping to try out ranged once I finish leveling some glyphs. I also wanna try out bow instead of xbow

Yeah I enjoy both TB and ranged spec but TB definitely needs a ton of button smashing haha

Ranged is more methodical

I was playing penetrating shot recently. And it’s been my favorite thing to play in d4 but it’s got major draw backs

The good

1. Super satisfying aoe, like it literally makes u smile as u detonate everything

The bad

1. Supressors affixes are terrible

2. Single target leaves a lot to be desired

3. Far more squishy than tb

4. Straggler mobs that you have to kill for dungeons are super annoying

5. U have to choose between dash or rapid fire to either have mobility, or to have single target dmg

Hmm.. iam using the Barrage guide from Maxroll. I can handle any nightmare dungeon to T55~ at lvl 86. Dont think i can handle any T100, is rapid fire better?

Yeah you hit the points nicely. The pen shot is more for mid level dungeons where you can just enjoy and speed farm. Very fun spec but not too good for end game dungeons.



Barrage is very good too. It's more of preference. The playstyle is a little different. Barrage is a bit more close fights

Yeah after playing like 10 T100 maps, Ranged Rogue is much safer than TB Rogues. Most maps are 4-9 mins clear every time. No need elixirs nor selective map or affixes. Crazy.

Pen shot was really good. Use the taunt heart and just blow em all up with shadow and combo points 😮‍💨😮‍💨
