i've noticed on a youtube video that a shred druid while fighting a boss, step back from the boss (melee zone) & then hit from distant

why?

Aspect of the blurred beast is on every shred build that’s where most of the dmg comes from

The aspect is only activated after reaching a certain distance away from the boss

should i run or dash away? does it matter?

I didn’t try it with dash because it’s actually not along distance to activate
