I've been playing with Bursting Venom + Infiltrator Poison TB Rogue in Season 1 and it's been a blast. They seem pretty overpowered with the DoT heart synergy with bursting venom.

Anyone else enjoying the poison spec in season 1?

Downed T100 as Lvl89 the other days. Should be a lot stronger with more paragon points.

Doing renown is so damn annoying though

This build is the best suited for the pretty significant high lvl nmd boss hp since it does insane single target damage.

I'm waiting for Petinent Greaves for some massive poison dmg boost now.

Have you updated yet? This build just got gutted. Bursting Venoms doesn't get the generous extra proc opportunities anymore

Yeah pretty sure they nerfing the poison trap while in concealment today

Why would blizz nerf infiltrator aspect? It's working as intended

Ahh my apologies just reread patch notes. They fixed it so it costs energy now to deploy traps. Before u could mass traps at no energy cost

Just did a quicker t84. Had to rush since I'm working at home lol it does seem like the proc is a bit less. Things are still melting as before. Will do some more good runs tonight



Just tested. Wasn't really checking on energy but it was no problem. I run momentum passive with this so I do get a lot of regen while running.

The patch is here and was testing out the same spec quick.

Working right now so wanted to skip some trash mobs and go for the objects and

OF COURSE I get a Butcher. First of all, the Bursting Venom got some nerf so the proc isn't as frequent as before.

Not sure its the post patch bug or intended nerf but it doesn't seem that bad to be honest. Might just need to mix in some physical damage.

This will be completely negated once I get the Petinent Greaves because rogues have insane damage synergy just from that boots for massive damge.

Second, the Butcher barrier got some bug removed where the poison damage and other procs not working on the barrier.

So I got him down but WHY HIS BARRIER IS KEEP POPPING UP AGAIN AND AGAIN!????

That was so annoying but it's pretty cool to just tank through him in T84.

Anyway, can't wait to adjust some of the spec and push through. Need to get more level and get the renown done. Still have 2 more glyphs to put on the board haha

T100 clear after patch.

This was the last hurrah with this build. It still works but not as fun as before since can't really get the imbu proc often.

Time to respec to non poison with the Barber now that it works with procs.
