Is it good and are there different applications in which you would use a 2 second one over a 4 second one?

It is a staple heart in most builds because it increases damage so much. If it doesn’t mess with your specific build it’s extremely potent and a good heart, if not the best.

If a monster absorbs damage in the barber damage collection window it will explode and deal its damage before the timer. This means a 2 or 4s would both function the same if you deal a monsters full health bar in 1.5s. It would just explode.

The only effective difference I’ve seen is a trade off for mobs with enough HP to survive past a few seconds. Mainly in how early damage ticks in the 2s heart VS more damage accrued per second in the 3+s heart. Effectively I’ve noticed no difference between from 2.2-3.8s.

Below 3 sec is good to still have vulnerable on targets for clearing trash.
Over 3 sec seems to be more effective on bosses.

Overrated boring crap item

sorta agree. I mean it’s not bad but kind of overhyped for sure. and not dealing damage most of the time just sucks.
