The player count doesn't even make sense considering the game wasn't even reelased until 6/6.

It will take a long time for the game to actually die because d4 is a fraudulent game. Meant to keep you long in the game by adding stupid mechanics that slow you. So you look around town and you always see people and think the game is alive; but on the contrary, it is a dead game. I have added a lot of people to my friends list when the game launched and everyone was always online, one week after season 1 no one is around. Boring classes, skills, no end game, slow back tracking and extremely boring dungeons, tasteless itemization with stupid uniques. D4 is a steak with no seasoning.
