If I reroll my ammy and get +1 envenom, then upgrade to 5/5 to get +2 envenom total, can I still attempt to roll a +3 envenom ? Or will it be forever stuck at +2 max?

depends on the ilvl

if its +3 (3-4), then it will never be +4, you got the bad or low end roll. you need to re-roll it to get +4 (3-4).

if it was +3 (2-3) and below the 725 item power breakpoint, it would turn into +4 (3-4) when upgraded to be above the 725 break point.

It’s base i lvl is 750, so when I try to roll envenom, it gets either +1 or +2. I got a +1 roll, so I’m wondering if I need to keep rerolling now (before I upgrade it) so I ensure the +3 envenom OR can I upgrade it now (+1 becomes +2) and then try to reroll it to +3 after the upgrade.

I haven’t seen any info on whether doing it this way is possible.

i thought you were talking about skill ranks, but you mean passive skills.... lacking coffee and just read past the word envenom... haha

for passives, it looks like it will only upgrade to +3 if its perfect and you go all out to 5/5 upgrades. if its +1, upgraded to 5/5, it may only stay at +1, maxroll builder currently isnt increasing it to +2....

but ya, if its not perfect, it can be rerolled.
