Boosting is on fire for sure, but selling items still works pretty well

Well 1000fg is 10$ through other legit ways to buy and sell items generally ballpark range,
I wouldn’t be so shocked so many adults are capable of investing 10$
This is not like 2005 when majority of the player base in diablo 2 was 12-24
Most d2jsp players playing diablo 4 are likely in their 30s+

D2R I made 100 fg spent 5 hours of playing trading 10 different items

d4 preseason was sick for fg, now it slowed down a bit i think. goldprice dropped fast af

yeah that kind of normal when something new is released.

Back when I played D2 I never had more than 2k fg at best. When D2R came out I made 32k in just a few weeks. I think if I had sold what I did then in current D2R market it would have been worth maybe 2 or 3k tops.
