does the damage on the bow matter? or am i just looking for nice affix?

For rogues if you’re ranged the sword/daggers are just affix stat sticks.

If you’re melee the bow/crossbow is just an affix stat stick. The weapon dps for those stat sticks doesn’t matter if you’re not using it to attack with.

Damage doesn’t matter. Innate and affixes do

I prefer crossbow it has Natural vul on it... reg bows just have damage to distant.. wich isn't near bis for TB
