Its Diablo:Immortal predatory light, plan crafted for battle piss leech on players and pulling them from season to season, including damage control as we seen on dishonest campfire. Timed in the way that you will be entertained with season anyway and let them go away with it, even if you will be fed with obvious bullshit.

im not saying you cant make $ with the eternal realm, but saying that blizzard has no incentive to delete our shit and make us start over every few months is just incorrect....

at this point its pretty obvious this is how d4 has been built.

Eternal Realm degraded to unfun state day before season start, the season where most of this unfun nerfs can be workaround with seasonal temporary powers from temporary socket fillers and temporary aspects. The season where theres battle pass which is main focus of their financial plan for Diablo in years to come.

Devs been lying about game being about choices in pre-release propaganda, talking about that players will be able to keep playing Eternal Realm if they choose to, but forgot mention about their plans of gimping base game on Eternal Realm. They literally broken mechanics of working builds by 1.1.0 nerfs and made playing game on Eternal Realm as fun as eating rocks, you can stay on gimped Eternal Realm or move to Season where whats been stolen from you in nerfs earlier now being served as seasonal-only features.
