Hi.

I newer to Diablo and am currently level 87 on my Thorns Barbarian.

For season 1, I'm going to make a different character. So, I'm hoping you all will give me some helpful input.

Can you tell me your class and whether or not you're having fun? Along with what makes it fun or not. Or if you've tried a class you didn't like, I'd be really interested in why.

I know close to nothing about the other classes, but all I really care about is having fun. I guess I'd rather not be super squishy, too.




Obviously everything changed with the patch yesterday. I get that. I'm just trying to coax myself into believing ignorance is bliss.

Have done firewall sorc to level 100 pre season. Lots of fun as great at crowd control and proccing big groups, but clearly underpowered to other sorc specs and other classes when it comes to higher tier nm dungeons. I struggle to get passed tier 61 with it.

Fireball/meteor sorc was really fun up until about 75, although I haven't played it since patch.

Pulv druid was really fun from about 30 on, and is still fun in the 90s post patch.

Druid is awesome. Leveling it can be a pain compared to other classes.. And getting Tempest Roar (unique required for nado) can be a gamble! It’s quite rare. But if you can manage the class.. It’s amazing late game

thanks for this this is really intriguing. did you feel squishy as a sorc? like you were a liability to die sometimes? ive read that sorc got nerfed wicked hard so im nervous to commit to it lol




druid seems really powerful and i like the AOE aspect of some of the abilities. why do you think leveling is slower?

Because it was slower

I didn't play sorc since patch but it wasn't as bad as people say up to nm50
