I am level 93 I'm killing level 91 but for some reason I'm getting level 60 and 80 items nothing else.

They are literally level 60 and level 80 on the dot.

Is this possibly due to me killing lower level enemies? I really don't understand what happened..

Also it didn't do this yesterday or any other day just started today.

The max cap for lvl requirements for sacred items is now lvl 60, so it will get capped at that.

The max cap for ancestral items is lvl 80.

Wait so basically I won't find items that are my level anymore just 60 and 80?

its much better this way. this might actually be the only positive thing that came from yesterdays patch.

level is not equal to power... it literally could be level 1 and roll the same stats as long as it said "sacred" or "ancestral" on the item
this is to allow people that find an item to transfer them between characters and actually use said item on a different character.

i.e. you won't find a level 100 item in the wild that would be useful for your barb or something (which would be unusable if your barb is level 80)

No, the quality will be higher as level progresses (check Item Power) but the level requirement to use them will be less so your other alt accounts can use your items without being lvl 93. This is a good thing so your alt accounts don't need to be higher levels to use them or even selling them here.

Yeah but question remains does this mean any of the items that rules are going to change? Or does this mean at this point it's damaged capped?

They are the same Item Power/quality as before, but the level requirement to use them has dropped. This has a very good thing

No damage cap. Only lvl cap.

its been capped at 820 or whatever item power is capped at.
item power is the stat that matters, item level could literally say "fk u noob" as the number and it won't have an impact on the item whatsoever
