Guys, i was thinking about icy shards soso. As u get infinite sick amount of mana when finding more than 3-4 mobs wont this malignant make icy way stronger?

Omnipower (Wrathful, Super-World Tier IV): Core Skills that launch a projectile consume all of your Mana. For every 45-35 extra Mana consumed, you launch an additional projectile, and the damage is increased by 3.0-5.0%.

If i understand it correctly.. Lets say ive got 160mana, icy shard cost 20 mana. Lets say ive got perf malignant (35extramana). Does it mean that my soso will pull out 5 icy shards (with 3-5% inc dmg) IN 1 CAST? And as we get mana from vul dmg u would pretty much cast 5 icy shards cast in 1 instead of.. 1 non stop??

Why go for such a low damage projectile instead of getting a big damage projectile

I don't play sorc because im too alpha to play such a nerfed beta class, but this is my first thought

But wait... as Icy shard shoots 5 projectiles it mean it would send 25 projectiles or just 9 (considering an example i mentioned in first post)

Cuz if 25 it sounds crazy strong, if 9 it sounds incredibly fucking retarded Cuz then u pay 140 mana for 80% of another cast which cost 20 mana. If those 9 projectiles are the anwser u get like 5 shards (1 cast cost which costs 20) and 4 shards (4x 35) which cost 140 and is equal to 80% of normal cast which cost 20 mana and send 5 projectiles.

i don 't think it will be viable because imagine you shoot a single mob, your mana is gone and you'll have to WAIT HOURS until your mana comes back

repeat it ten times

then all you want is use Occulus to TP to POE or BG3
