I've been combing over the reddit lately and it looks like the majority of players have done a 180 after playing the game for over a month, and then seeing terrible patch changes. The same forums that were constantly defending D4 are now in an uproar and many announcing they're quitting the game because it isn't fun. Many posts are now giving suggestions on other games to migrate to and BG3 is steadily gaining interest even if not an ARPG.

The feeling of something not being right about this game just looking at the core systems and realizing it was a mess before wasting nearly 100 dollars has served me well. The company once employed some of the greatest minds in game development. That is no longer true though. Now all that's left in the dev team are purple headed interns who got their degree in woke agendas and brain washing fresh out of the liberal hivemind campuses. They're not focused on what makes a good game. They're focused on politics and optics. They don't even play the games they're developing otherwise they'd see the cracks all around.

Yet another victim who confuses a loud minority with an actual majority. D4 currently has 30x the players that d2r has as someone posted on another thread, so no, that exchange of players is not happening. Also BG3 was always be going to be big, no matter how d4 performs.

I think you missed the point where I said these forums were pro D4 and then did a 180. These were the people who thought the game was going to be a massive hit until playing it.
