so i'm building a barb that's level 49 atm, using primarily lunging strike, whirlwind and red to get by

the two handed slashing weapon is my main for all these attacks and my understanding is that I need to use the other 3 weapons as stat sticks to boost my primary right?
what order should i look for damage enhancements in? core skill? close enemies? physical damage? is there a list or guide somewhere?

With recent crit and vuln nerfs this could change though

Close is always a good option too

For guides I find Maxroll to be best in depth for leveling guides as well as end game builds
