Q1 - DR vs DR from distant/close. Do we have any idea how far is distant? For example as we all know, sorc keep getting 1 shot especially from distance ranged attackers you didnt know existed.
Q2 - DR vs (DR from distance OR DR from close). IF, my enemy is close. Is the DR from close the same thing as normal DR? For example if I have an armor with 6% DR & 14% DR from close. Does that mean for an enemy who is "close" to me, total DR on armor can be assumed to be 20%? Or are the two DR's calculated differently?
Q3 - I know the chest/pants for ice shards are kind of set in stone in the meta with unique but Im wondering if I can double down on 4 defensive attributes on pants + a defensive attribute to pentuple down on defense but Im wondering what to prioritize. For example:
Rare chest with 4/5 of the below:
~X% DR from distant (~20% after 5 star depending on roll).
~X% DR from close (~20% after 5 star depending on roll).
~X% DR from burning (enemies are always burning) (~20% after 5 star depending on roll).
~X% DR (~10% after 5 star depending on roll).
~X% Armor.
And slapped on to it Aspect of Disobedience: You gain
0.50% increased Armor for
4 seconds when you deal any form of damage,
stacking up to 50%My sorc has insane IAS like a machine gun and infinite mana so stacking huge %Armor from the aspect is not a problem.
My question then is what is best bang for buck on armor? Because %armor rolls and %DR while most unconditional are just low rolls. So, for my 4th affix do I go for a x% to armor when Im already getting the defense from aspect or DR?
Are my thoughts and ramblings nonsense and all of this is solved and already had these discussions? In which case gimme findings
