Don't worry about it too much. While Sorc is definitely the weakest overall, it's still good. it's more that the other classes all have builds that stand out ridiculously with the proper gear.
The beta feedback nerfs set the sorc back a bit too far, but they're slowly closing the gap again with each update.
Don't take the poll results as saying the sorc sucks though. It's still able to do everything you want to do overall.
The other classes just have overwhelming power created from aspects and uniques that sorcs just can't compare to right now. But at the same time, every class has serious issues that hurt them as well.
The sorc lacks the potential for overwhelming power other classes have access to.
The necro has nearly useless summons, and very little movement options.
The druid is overly reliant on difficult to find aspects and unique items.], and companions are useless past a certain point.
The barbarian fights long cool downs and fury issues, and is ridiculously slow to play in the early game.
Rogue's are squishy, and spend more time setting up a fight than actually doing the fight.
Every class has it's own issues, the sorcs issue is just raw power.
