This is the reality of online rpg games with trading/economy. And its perfectly fine. The game itself isn't offering sanctioned RMT/p2w and that's a good thing.

Just play the game to have fun.

You can play the game to "be better than others and play d2jsp forum gold economy to be rich" too, but that might take away from its just a video game at the end of the day.

To each their own and if the game is not fun, just play one of the other 20 games you find more fun instead. Its all good
