I've been in on the communities of several games (working alongside devs or insiders) - it isn't as simple as banning bots. the cheating community, if it has a market, has 10000x the amoutn of peopel creating new bots compared to the developers. they simply can't compete.

naivety is insane.

edit3: also. i don't even plan on trading on jsp for d4 even if there is trade as long as there is a healthy in game market. im mostly here cuz there is discussion you can have here among a dedicated gaming community these days.

lol, you are clueless.. have you seen the price of a D4 game? you believe a bot is going to pay another 70$ for a banned account? it is really worthwile for blizz to just ban accounts from botting. They have done that with tooling on a 30000 per week. that is about 2.1 million hard dollars if they allow trading and luring bots into buying new games. It is just a business model. you want to bot? you make the company rich. If they would not allow trading, there will be no commercial bots and no accounts to ban, resulting in 2.1 million dollar less income per week.
