Actually, this managed to ruin my weekend sort of. I was zero hyoed for D4 knowing actiblizz. But somehow they managed to make me angry and feeling emtpy?! I guess its the way theyre talking as if they really looked at D2, and how beautiful that cinematic was, getting my hopes up just to crash it monumentally seconds later in Q&As.

They have no idea what an ARPG need. 100% scrubs.

I don't think it's even possible to have the next D2 when the game is also made and balanced for consoles as well.

How many times did they mention darkness & blood? Even designed a legendary with "built in blood".... oh look, a pentagram! epik..

lol games not even going to be released for 3 years minimum. Everybody chill. I do agree it looks like a D3 reskin. Havn't even played D3 since they removed auction house but they got plenty of time to receive feedback and hopefully fix the grievous errors of their past ways

This is the first time I've ever been excited about the lore in a diablo game, lilith and inarius had the coolest story. As far as game play if they bring back stat distribution/skill trees and make items interesting again (w/o super inflated numbers) I think I'd be happy

Have you not seen the gameplay streams? Its literally d3 reskinned in a darker tone.

I really liked in the mainstage panel yesterday the dev said "i remember doing hardcore baal runs and the other guy went to town, hostiled me and came back through the portal and killed me" iirc thats not possible, he wouldve had to hostile, and then take the wp after like 10-15 seconds or whatever the restriction was back to worldstone 2 and teleport (or run) all the way back to the throne room. Clearly he's never played d2 just making a loose statement with a few familiar points to seem real. They are definitely not part of the d2 faithful, they are merely just skinning d3 in the vein of d2 to try and get players to come back based solely on aesthetics.
