You really just typed a 500 word essay and throughout the entirety of it rambled about nothing, certainly nothing remotely close to being true
Every single thing that you tried to say the Witcher lacks it does excellently, and the action that you tried to say is what makes people like it is the least impressive part of the game  it is impressive that every point you tried to make is so completely opposed to reality
I spent two minutes explaining that your favorite activity is pretending you’re a big strong guy who women like, and your criticism is I spent too much time doing so. When we speaking about a game you’ve spent 80+ hours playing, because you get to feel desired.
I played it until I helped the guy abort his daughter or whatever the quest is, and when I heard that people like you were brought to tears by this scene, I uninstalled and sold all my stock to buy a boat from which I’m criticizing you.
Please enjoy your success and popularity simulator, and please don’t think about the fact that a game of any kind is skill-based, and you’ve been sold on a fake life simulator that you put your free time into.
Again, I don’t think identity is a great reward or experience for a few dozen hours. It’s the same reason d4 is failing, there is zero reward in logging into a game for it to tell you who you are. Games should serve and entertain, and challenge people, and your understanding of “best game ever” is the one where the game makes you feel good about an identity you didn’t earn.
