Well I just picked up D2r at the start of June so here's my perspective... btw I only care for dueling and could care less about PvM
Desync is definitely severely reduced but sometimes can still play a role, smiters still desync purposefully
WSG is dumb IMO, you shouldn't be able to get out of stunlocks w/o the proper FHR. Now you need to build your toon correctly instead of knowing something only a small % of the player base knew. To that end, FHR was just modified in 2.4.3 which dropped a few weeks ago ... Things feel good to me but I haven't played LOD in so long that I don't expect it to be a certain way anymore.
Skills and balance feel refreshing. Paladin is essentially dead... it feels good that the absolute dominator of the field is finally taken off the steroids. Nec and Zon as you said are extremely strong now alongside druid.
I like D2r because it feels like the game we love with the opportunity for changes to finally happen... like you said the game is a grind fest and repetitive as fuck... with these changes we see new pvp metas emerging instead of rehashing LOD
i read the first sentence and your wrong and dont know what your talking about aint no desynch.
its fine man noobs actually do like D2R because they dont know how it should be working
happy pvm'ing
