Hahahahaha dude. You are basing this off a poll posted on a site literally created for the purpose of cross-game trading with digital currencies you can purchase with real money
You say a game with no economy is boring? I say a game that people can insta-buy everything with their 1m FG is boring. Doesn't really matter what either of us say because the trading is what it is, and your biased poll changes nothing
Let's be real. There is no feeling of "bartering", because all trade on d2 goes outside the game. You don't trade ists for gear, you trade ists for a global currency to be used in d2 and other games. "Bartering", kekw. Open-trade games are gone, never to return, because nerds manage to ruin everything good
I don’t understand name calling the fan base of D2’s open trade. D2’s itemization defined the entire game industry. The colors tiers, don’t remember seeing that in other games that came later? Apex legends? Fortnight? Destiny? Borderlands? The entire fucking industry? And yet none of them, bless their souls, we’re worth millions of fucking dollars like Diablo 2 was. None of them have dedicated forum sights 20 years later to continue to trade items in the game. Diablo 2 open market was and is amazing and will not be abandoned. If Blizzard can’t make it work, the rest of the game industry will continue to make iterations trying to do half as good as Blizzard North did it originally.
