Sorry it’s so confusing. Capitalism has never been good. It’s not sustainable and exploits people and resources for endless growth. The history of blizzard is actually a great example of why capitalism blows. It’s been bought numerous times by larger companies who only care about profits, underpays and abuses their staff in order to make the most amount of money, and cares more about the monetization aspect of the game than the game itself.

If blizzard was bought by activision in 1999, and corporate greed knew how to exploit online monetization like it does now d2 would probably not have been as good of a game.

this is just a theory, but i think its not capitalism thats the problem. any system can be exploited, the only difference is time you need to do so

basically every "organization" goes through a few periods. its started by intelligent and passionate people, which lets it gain traction. then the psychopaths notice the traction and the money it gives and infiltrate the organization. then ofc it collapses it starts as something good, and is eventually corrupted into an abomination

examples: church, politics, democracy, games, movies, sports, you name it.. the governmental systems also go through this cycle, except time differs. for example communism gives a lot of power to a small minority, is easily infiltrated and collapses fast. capitalism makes groups fight each other and collapses only when those groups disappear, meaning when theres a small number of groups that control everything (situation we have now). so when you have people that control everything and obviously belong to the same (((group))), you should be scared (again, situation we have now)

the only way to slow this process down seems to be to have a high iq, high trust population. ofc a group like this can only exist within darwinian conditions, which are soon removed thanks to the medical progress of the said group, so in the end it all collapses. basically my theory is that humanity goes through cycles and this is just the end of one of them
