You aren't good if you play HC in D2.
The game is easy, braindead, zero challenge, and any baby idiot can beat it on HC.
Tagging along with a Baal running bot doesn't make you good.
There's nothing hard or challenging about the game in the slightest.
The hardest thing in that game is trying not to blow your brains out grinding level 100 because you're bored out of your mind.

Have some respect for your time and play a game that actually takes skill instead of putting yourself in a vegetated state "playing" D2.

Yea the d4 playerbase is dropping like crazy

Doesn't make any logical sense considering all the games I played instead and now are much higher skill-cap.
I played D2 before 2005, by 2005 Guild Wars was in full swing, zero chance in hell I'd ever play D2 over that lol.

I wouldn't really say I hate D2, I'm quite indifferent about it, soyboy fans like to bring it up here and that's the only time I ever even think about it.
When it comes to game mechanics and design I simply don't pull any punches, Ima tell you how it is.
I will say it was hilarious watching Blizz sell everyone D2R though, easily capitalized on desperate fan's nostalgia to return to childhood skipping school and eating hot pockets.

Yes, exactly this. It’s clear as day that they must have been ordered to reuse as much d3 as possible to minimize the development cost. And that they didn’t really spend any time rethinking the basic game mechanics but took that for granted and focused their efforts on different ways to monetize the game (cosmetics, battle pass, expansions…) instead.



That’s what people said about D3. And about SC2. And none of the truly fundamental problems has ever been fixed. Once the game is released it’s too late. Most likely once the game designer is chosen and put into a specific corporate culture it’s too late. It’s baked into the cake. You will get small & easy fixes here and there, to alleviate some of the pain but nothing more. And an expansion to create a distraction from the central game flaws. Just enough to keep people believing things will improve (which they won’t) and nothing more. Hope dies last…
