yup i post a lot at work, play 3-5 hours total per week. used to play like 8 hours of games a day, but then i found out what girls are and stopped being a loser.

Okay, i need to ask this... Is Asmongold a fucking idiot or what? I haven't seen much from the guy, but lately he's been reacting and criticizing almost every popular or semi-popular video that bashes D4. And his takes and arguments are very dumb at times, like he's a total noob. He reacted to the video in the main post in this thread too, and it was terrible. He acts like some know it all autistic expert on the Diablo series as a whole, while openly admitting that he's only ever played Act 1 of Diablo 2... correction, Act 1 of Diablo 2 Resurrected. In fact he never played (or beat) the cassic Diablo 1 and Diablo 2 LoD, but he wants to be the guy on the intertent that debunks and counters criticisms of Diablo 4. The guy is completely and utterly delusional!

he's super smart and i watch his highlights on yt all the time, but he should stay in his lane which is world of warcraft and mmos. afaik he never grew up with a good arpg background, so that's where a lot of that is coming from

it's like if llama started making videos offering ideas for WoW (or another completely different genre than aRPG)

Witcher 3 is still the best game ever made. Nobody can convince me otherwise. Love that game.

Also it seems like becoming a multi millionaire has caused him to lean more into a fake persona. Sometimes he gives bad takes just to farm outrage because it causes more viewer engagement/controversy. It's not just him lacking background experience in many of the things he discusses. He's actively trolling the user base sometimes and they're just unaware of it.

Asmon has this habit of backing up corporations too for some reason. Most likely another part of his trolling techniques trying to go viral in each video or something. That or trying to stay in the good graces of companies for early access. I've heard him talk shit about Bobby constantly, but on the flip side he defends blizzard often.
