40? 40k? 400k? A million?

I’d put money on it being much closer to a million than 40.. but I can see why you’d think that when all you do is hang on this forum and not even play the game

Nah it’s more like 1 million pple still play D2R a better endgame, they just don’t log on n play at same time. There’s always godly loots to find or trade for.

D4 has 1 million users quit already, many have log in n quit again after 20 minutes, unplayable repetitive.

I’m guessing normal people who aren’t obsessed with trolling… ? No?



I’d say maybe a million bots and 10k or less active players for D2R, whereas D4 is less than 4 months old and has sold close to 10 million copies..

But my point was the active users for D4 is going to be closer to a million than 40, people are just moronic and in their feelings ignoring facts.

Can’t blame them though, where they like to troll, I like to call out trolls. They just can’t accept the truth, and I can’t help but throw it in their face.

Selling more copies don’t make it a good game. It makes the blizzard a genius at over selling and under deliver, that’s why luckily I skipped D4 thanks to D3+Ros

Every game including D4 inmitates D2R but can’t duplicate it’s success. D2R is like a career, D4 is like one weekend Lawnmowing job, paid n be done.

I dont have an issue with people botting (though running 10000 of them seems a bit much..) It doesnt really effect my fun on the game one way or another.

I would say Diablo 4 IS a decent game though. I'm more than happy with it, and intrigued with where they'll take it in the future. D2R is what, 6 versions removed from D2? D2, LoD, .09, .14, D2R, TZ - maybe even more.

I'd say it's more (in terms of gaming, of course) -> D2 = Life , D4 = Vacation , Can't be on vacation all the time but may as well enjoy it when you are.

this is what enables blizzard's buffoonery. you know the difference between a career and a vacation, and know which kind is better for an adult in the long run, but still chose vacation because you want that instant gratification hit. well, let me tell you something skip, that instant gratification shit is the downfall of gaming and is a cancer to the industry. the more the consumers like you continue to like that, the more shitty games will be produced. congrats, you're part of the problem. hope that makes you feel good

To be fair; the video games I have purchased in order from most recent; Diablo 4. Diablo 2 Resurrected. Diablo 3 Expansion (The actual game was a gift.) 8~ish copies of D2LoD. This includes PC, XBox but does not include board games, and I think I may have purchased the full version of WordFeud somewhere along the line for mobile.

Ladder is fun, but outside of the first 2-4 weeks, it's exactly like every other time I've played D2, which from my 2003 user tag you can probably assume is A LOT. So why WOULDNT I want a vacation from that? I don't mind being lumped in though, I do the same with you and the others on this forum

i understand. i'm just curious your reasoning on why would you purchase such a game if you know how shallow it is. you know how d2 was/is and the longevity it has. an arpg shouldn't be bought on the notion the player is gonna get their money's worth of a few hundred hours. it should be thousands.

that right there, is at the core of the problem, and how these corporate overlords are taking advantage of players and continuing to dish out shit games. anyone with a d2 background who saw what happened to d3 would never touch d4 with a 10 foot pole
