I like the warning from OP, but I dont think you really need to avoid buying items or gold. The duped and exploited gold/items have been flowing into the economy now and you dont even know if you have exploited goods or not. Items and gold change hands every day on a massive scale, so it's impossible to know now, if its exploited or not. Im pretty sure they dont ban a big chunk of the playerbase and many people probably dont even know that something fishy is going on.
