At end-game, level 100, rares and legendaries roll the same range on stats.

Furthermore, there are confirmed sacred and ancestral legendaries which will roll even higher on the same stats.

This is similar to D3 and and I suspect D4 will spiral into basically getting all gear slots filled with ancestrals.

Yup, lack of clarity means they are hiding something bad and that will be no trading at all in end game since rares will be bad or maybe only bis in one slot and when they introduce set items rares will be gone and no trading will exist.

Unless they changed since CBT, rares are not like non ancients/primals in D3, where you can still clear GR100-130 without ancients.The difference between ancestral and regular rares is more like D3 vs D3:ROS rares.

It's a completely different tier of gear. And you can't imprint regular legendary aspects onto ancestral gear.

You're saying this as if you don't know rares are sacred and ancestral. It's just an item tier. I'm guessing this is a game of telephone with at least one party not knowing what they're talking about. There is no confirmation that an ancestral legendary can roll higher than an ancestral rare.
