Good one, no, only one type of rare items. I also think in similar way. At the end no one will use rares, or only 1%.

Again rares will be used, constantly to imprint aspects onto and turn them into "legendaries" which allow for additional affixes.

Also @ D2Rikku to my understanding you can trade ancestral rares. However, if you can't it would be a big bait and switch.

Yes...exactly what I'm worried about...the possibility that primal and ancestral legendaries will be way better than rares is very high.
So no one will imprint rares to keep them as BIS instead of those kind of legendaries.
Obv I'm just talking for the very eng game.
We have only to sit abd see what will be on day1.

This is wrong.

Non-ancestral items are limited to level 49.
Non-sacred items are limited to level 69.

Legendaries are always better than rares, because they have 1 extra stat line. But you'll basically never find a perfect legendary. You get 30x as many rares as legendaries, and you can add legendary affix for minimal cost.

At the start of the video trading is mentioned.

Might be that they are implementing open trading slowly or its a bug?

So this shows how rares will be only good for early-mid game and rarly used as end game which basically means there will be no trading at all in end game or maybe only with gold but thats questionable also.

Rares will still be better than legendaries end game.

This is because you can modify rares for a lot cheaper and you can imprint a well rolled aspect on to them.

Legendary items are really just in the game so you can strip the aspect off of it, you'd have to be very lucky that one drops with all the affixes you want and with good rolls.

To be crystal clear besides the 1 unique item you can wear the rest of your BiS will be rares that you slap a well rolled legendary aspect on.

No way someone would go trout all of development process so players could only destroy item when they find it and take only 1/6 out of it(aspect), they would make only aspects then.
