If we're comparing this game to a building then I'd say it's more of a tofu-dreg. I don't think they'll be building any amazing skyscraper from it. The thing basically has to be torn down and rebuilt from scratch, or in other words Diablo 5. There are so many things in the foundations of the game that simply don't work well in a modern arpg. They thought they knew, but they didn't. When you have leadership in charge with zero concept of what the culmination of decades of ARPGs should evolve into this is what you get. Shameless cashgrabs. They need to start hiring people that care or it will be too late for the entire franchise.

Great post! Ya I'm pretty sure they're gona rush out the xpac and get to work on d5 asap. I think they thought their seasonal mechanics was going to be better well received by the player blase but once again their incompetence has lead them to a woefully boring season and people are getting tired of spamming nmds extremely fast.

yes, i wanted to play the game for myself before making my mind up, and i come to the d4 section for news i may have missed and to discuss d4, for both good and bad.

but unlike you, i am capable of saying its a shit game since it clearly is...

truth is, this game is as shallow as they get and has major issues at its core. atleast im willing to admit it.

You are complaining about a complaint, that is why these topics get made. You are feeding the trolls by trying to defend D4. First playthrough of the game was pretty good, I'll give Blizz that. BUT, the game feels like it was only designed/developed to have a fun playthrough the first time and then nothing else. There is no end-game content, no pvp and more importantly no social interactions? Why even bother releasing this game for multiplayer? Everyone just solo's the higher nm dungeons. All in all, the game is literal TRASH. Obviously, this is just my opinion but seems like a popular one.
