20+ hours of arpg game time is not cheap for a $70 game

in fact, that's really expensive. arpgs are usually played (or should be) for thousands of hours..

Most people don’t have thousands of hours to invest in a game so that’s not their target market. $3.50 an hour for entertainment is very affordable to me.

Just because you say or think that a $70 purchase should have 100s/ of hours of entertainment doesn’t make it realistic or likely.

D2 end game was botting/d2jsp/PvP. I’m sure some people manually magic found for thousands of hours but that’s not my idea of a good time.

Also $70 in 2023 is the equivalent of around $35 in 1999/2000. D4 is cheaper than d2.

i enjoy to play modded d2 versions cuz of the botting reason (d2r non season was also really enjoyable to play cuz no bots)

The modded versions were awesome, and d2r is a solid game, I agree!

I wish there were more topics about sausage making instead. Lamb or pork casings? Infinite amounts of delicious mince recipes. Do we blanch them, grill them, fry them, blanch them then do all of those things? Sausages are awesome, I feel like they could be the great uniter on this forum.
