Exactly the opposite. Pre-season was awesome. Had tons of fun testing out OP builds on HC.

Now Season will be even better! They buffed the hell out of every build. Except instead of sitting in wt4 BB for someone to level you until you can apply your paragon and become OP, now you have to earn it.

You have to level yourself to 40, and get your own malignant hearts to make your OP builds. And better yet, you don't just get the OP malignant hearts to start with. You'll earn the common ones first and will battle your way through to end game when you start getting the rare hearts that actually unlock the ungodly damage buffs. Much more personal and rewarding this time, a lot less cheesey Apply Skill Point simulator going on with this patch.

Not sure if trolling.
But if not, I've made lvl100 sorc straight doing nm dungeons 10-20 lvls higher than me and I think it was way too easy. I am glad that they are removing boosting or "power" leveling. But in the first place you must be really gigasoy to do normal dungeons before the first patch for some extra xp/min how you nerds call it, I did the "hard stuff" instead and had my build minmaxed on lvl 75 while you were spamming the forum with threads like "I can't find this aspect" or "can't find this unique".
As I said, the problem is not nerfs, but that it doesn't balance anything.

Classic bait and switch.

Would have been better if they just left XP the way it was, and put the capstone level requirements in place. Their whole reasoning for the xp nerf in the first place was to make leveling more "co-op" play rather than just leeching. The capstones requirements would have forced that hand better than the xp nerf, akin to ancients in D2. By removing the level requirement and leaving the nerf in place, they just made the leeching problem worse, as it will still happen but take even longer to spool up to help in the dungeons.

So they nerfed only like a half of infinite scaling builds. It means that there are even less builds hardcore gamers will be craving for. So it should be all or nothing. Or make iceshards deal quadrillion damage, then I am ok with it.

Huh? The change to vulnerable and crit affected all classes and builds. That is the flat 50% dps crunch they did to try and make room for the massive malignant heart buffs.

Except they would've needed to remove the vulnerable mechanic completely to counteract the huge buffs they brought to all classes. But they only did a small 40% reduction to vuln, so all classes will still be broken...it just won't magically happen at lvl 50 this time. Now you'll have to actually play and min/max your malignant heart combo...taking into mid 80s before your dps tops out to numbers even more broken than preseason was.

There's no reason to pull the ripcord and boycott the season. At least not until we've given the Devs a chance to respond to the outcry in their super candid Campfire Chayt. Don't forget your marshmallows!
