Where did you hear that you can imprint a legendary aspect on to a unique?

shouldnt you only be able to put legendary aspects into rares? and not uniques...

You can imprint a legendary aspect even in another legendary.
But I not understand if doing this, you will replace the original legendary aspect, or you will have a double legendary aspect +4 affixes

Yes, it replaces the original legendary power. You won't get two legendary powers on one item.
I just did this in game with an amulet, it replaced some crappy power i didn't need.
So why would anyone want to destroy the legendary power on a unique item..

Perfect, one of my questions get an answer. Now it remain to see just how will be a sacred legendary and an ancient legendary.
Pretty sure that they will be more powerful than rares. But we will see.

Ok nvm MoneyTreez posted above, i thought that it worked on uniqies also, but can you use unique aspect on another unique?

no you cant extract unique aspects. you can only extract legendary aspects, and legendary aspects have different rolls on them. uniques already have set stats. no one really knows how they look or what stats are on them.

So end-game gear will most likely be combination of rares with legendary aspects and unqiues, giving a lot of tradeability and importance to legendary and rare items. I am hoping they add imbue function or something to white gears to make it more useful.

Which means that best items will be untrdable even before modifying it, but another quest is can unique or sacred aspects be traded and could one replace other, if only legendary aspects could be traded and not uniques ones then its definatly not trading at all.

E/ And we got answer above, only legendary aspects can be traded.
