The difficulty that we face bashing D4 is that we don't have a product called "what D4 should have been" to compare it with.
As long as people don't know what a true 2023 Diablo game feels like, there is always the argument that the current version is acceptable.
We don't know what mark that student would have gotten had he tried for real lol and this is the issue.
I get what you mean but people are always going to complain about a diablo game. They complained about d2 and said that sucked yet still played it. They complained about d3 and said that sucked yet they still played it and it is still ongoingly having regular seasons.
People praised diablo IV saying it was amazing in the beginning and now a few months later its all of a sudden a garbage game because people always look for reasons to complain.
There is no point its just everyone looking to join the negativity train of endless negative opinions about a game that they are literally still playing. If you don't like the game then don't play it. It is that simple.
