I'm sure there will be bots they just won't be nearly as effective and they won't have a long lifespan.

You gotta understand the logistics, if the bot shops aren't making the profit they are going to stop botting.

If the bots are getting banned every 2 weeks vs every month then they're losing twice as much in initial investment.

And it's a no-brainer that they won't be as effective right out of the gate, the bot devs need time to get their shit working.

It's a cat and mouse game between the game devs and the bot devs, always has been, and the bot devs are at a big disadvantage starting off until they figure out how to fly below the radar while still doing what they need to do.

I think that people should not be under the illusion that there will be no bots in d4. The question is how many will be in the game...
It's no secret that bots support the economy of the game well but a large number of bots destroy it... There must be a balance

i agree with what you said though but it looks like this game will be like poe ssf mode, except all modes will be ssf modes

yes i know the cat and mouse game it has been that way for over 21 years. they will continue to run rampant on d4 as long as $ is involved, they will do it. what the game devs on d4 are doing to try to curb botting doesn't make sense, as the bots will always exist and evne if they only allow xxx amount of items to be tradeable, bots will still profit like crazy. just look at the igg for example. on day 1 of the server slam, i saw threads of 700k igg for 20-40fg. LOL. imagine 1 month in, and 10000x players.

it's gonna be the max amount of igg you can carry for xxx fg

Disenfranchise all players with account bound limitations, I feel bad for the new generation they'll never get that experience of trading in game, can't of wild to think after 20 years they couldn't come up with anything new at Blizzard besides restrictions!!!

Can't expect much from a team of devs that copy & pasted D3 code into a wow engine and pass it off as D4 by adding a dark texture overlay.. low energy mixes with zero talent

it's funny because the game will still be littered with bots and they still fk over the free trade thinking they are doing the right thing with account bounding stuff, lol

yeah the only thing that makes sense with today's blizzard is choosing the path of least resistance, input d3 itemization [account bound] paste, I really don't think they have the talent or knowledge to do anything different than what has been done.. I know I know if I say this.. It's going to sound a lot like you know... It's just the way it is..

yep same. i bet they do have decent knowledge/programmers, the problem is the leadership from the top down ain't right. that's why it's essential to have actual devs run the show, not corporate overlords

although if those devs don't have a good arpg background it's worthless too
