Cuz they are fucking retarded. Its really not that hard to implement horadric cube like inn d2 (as they anyway are copying a lot from d2 - and its best theyb did so far) and let people craft, implement runes, runewords and magic find/gf. ITS NOT THAT HARD REALLY.. Im not even asking for 100% open trade system as i know $lizz is just fucktarded, but the things like cube, runes, RW's, mf/gf on items IS AGAIN NOT THAT HARD to do.

^^^ agreed, the cude is iconic asf for a diablo. boggles my mind it isnt in the game.

d3's cube sucked balls.

Oh yeah.. like crafting those FCR amulets back in Diablo 2! That was really cool.. It was fun racing to level 93 or whatever it was and trying your luck at it  Definitely a great way to utilize gems/igg/etc

given that alot of bugs revolved around the cube, it made d2 so much more interesting imo....

for instance, i hate that d2r fixed ebugging. this was a glitch that added depth to the game. they should of left it.

the lack of "good" crafting in d4 will for sure hurt player retention. any crafted item in d4 is bound, so yea...

Totally agree! That was also super cool. I like tricks like that.. Anything that rewards game-knowledge is a win. And it also made very particular items godly and worth quite a bit

Edit

Account bound is rough at times.. especially when it comes time to upgrade and you can’t resell your current items -_-

People like you are the worst kind of people and contribute absolutely nothing to the betterment of the game. Please go away.

...and what is it that you contribute? 🤔

Bend over and I'll show you.

/e sorry that was toxic, also hope you're a female if not /retract

I contribute more than just blindly following the will of developers that literally don't care about the game at all. The most toxic mindset developers of these major franchises possess these days revolves around the notion that "it's our game and what we want goes". I would argue it's exactly the opposite. I would argue wholeheartedly that the game should always be tailored to the consumer and when extreme bouts of negative criticism towards mindless developers is received, it should be taken very seriously because it's their livelihood at stake. This game had record-breaking sales at release and now it boasts less viewers on Twitch than some games that have been out for over a decade.

Old School RuneScape does it right in the sense that their developers put out polls of upcoming ideas and iterations of future content which the community can directly vote on. Anything that is widely disliked and doesn't win in the polls, will fail to make it into the game. That is direct understanding of what the consumer wants and it's successful.
Here we are with Diablo 4 developers and their "Fireside Chats", which is a cookie-sharing, joke-cracking, Diablo Immortal-enjoyer simulator. Meanwhile Diablo 4 players are tuning in, anticipating something promising and let down at every turn. With littly faith left, we put our last bit of hope into this first Season launch, only to be left abysmally disappointed in overwhelming nerfs to survivability, damage, XP, speed and most importantly - fun. It's important to call these people out on this shit and not just blindly accept subpar results. Sure, while everyone will have their own opinion and are entitled to it, someone blindly agreeing to and accepting a patch that will render the game a wasteland in the near future isn't constructive to the overall health of the game.

Patch notes TLDR:
-fixed multiple instances of players feeling excited for season 1
-fixed a bug where sorc players were hopeful about the future
-discovered an issue where too many players were enjoying helltides.
-nerf to whatever was left of happiness and joy

i wish i could interview the devs on fridays stream.... :bonk:

Omg lol. We have never disagreed that frost nova applies vuln and cc the most efficient. At no point did I levy that claim. You are hung up on this one skill claiming there is no diversity in playstyle and builds because of it. Once again is a penetrating shot rogue and a twisting blades rogue the same because they use puncture? How about an arc lash lightning sorc and a blzzard sorc? You're grasping at straws here
