D4; a game so bad; that it makes Diablo 3 look playable.

It’s not like the devs made it any easier for you by copy-pasting 90% of d3 into d4

But it won’t get any… They’ll polish some minor things, throw an expansion on top of the existing game engine and charge $50 for it.


To be fair to d3: they failed miserably but watching the interviews with the devs - they at least tried a lot of new things, during the development phase.

In d4 they just decided they were reviving d3 and calling it a day. With all the sounds, monsters, skills, game philosophy… copy paste as much as you can, slap a d4 logo and let the marketing team sell as many copies as possible.

Even watching the interviews with the devs you could see how dead inside they were trying to describe what d4 would be. Another boring corporate project to keep the salary checks and manager stock options coming, nothing more.
