It doesn't need explaining. Notice how both genres have RPG in them?? You cannot be serious. The only difference between the two is the type of combat and the fact that one game comes to a finite end. You're still building a character, you're still collecting items. Now tell me how your stupid fucking fifa to red dead comparison makes sense.

Lol what are you talking about how is a hack and slash with a linear story anything like baldurs gate tactical turn based story driven multiple choice role playing game.

Maybe i exagerated slightly but only to make the point that these games are nothing like each other. Anyone whos played bg3 will confirm this.
